Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee

How it ships

Your plants ship directly from our partner nurseries. Most orders leave within 1-5 business days of their ship window and arrive in 2-7 days by USPS, UPS or FedEx. Orders with plants from different nurseries can arrive in separate boxes.

Ship seasons

• Bare-root trees and berries: January-April only. Orders placed outside that window are reserved and ship at the start of the season.
• Potted plants: ship most of the year, with pauses during extreme heat or freezes.
• Houseplants: ship year-round, with heat or cold packs as needed.

State restrictions

Agricultural quarantines (for example, in CA, OR, WA, ID, AK and HI) can block some plants from shipping to certain states. If your item can't legally ship to you, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

Live Arrival Guarantee

If your plant arrives dead or badly damaged, email a photo within 3 days of delivery and we'll send a free replacement or refund it. Once a plant is in the ground, its care is up to you. Some nurseries also give a longer warranty, and we'll pass that along wherever it applies.
